Box Butte Development Corporation (BBDC) would cordially like to invite the public to a groundbreaking ceremony for Rosewood Estates, LLC, a senior housing project. The groundbreaking will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 10:00 am at 2619 Cheyenne Lane, (Corner of Big Horn Drive and Cheyenne Lane), the site for the future Rosewood Estates Community Building. Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy will be our special guest and speaker.
Box Butte Development Corporation, Excel Development Group, Alliance Housing Authority and the City of Alliance collaborated to establish a moderate income senior housing project to address some of the housing issues in Alliance. A portion of the funding for this project is coming from grants that Excel Development Group has been awarded. Some of the funding partners are Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA), Nebraska Department of Economic Development, Midwest Housing Equity Group and FHLBank of Topeka. The funding partners have been invited to speak as well as the local partners.
