A completely redesigned and enhanced web site was officially launched today by the Box Butte Development Corporation (BBDC). With a totally fresh appearance and format, the new web site contains a new theme and branding to go along with the new Open Alliance Brand Print.

Box Butte Development Corporation understands that our county is defined by: Family, a small-town feel, safety, agriculture and area communities that are affordable to live in. “We also understand that our biggest challenge is retaining and recruiting a viable workforce to meet future opportunities in economic diversity and expansion of current industry” stated John Olafson, Executive Director of the Box Butte Development Corporation.

Building on this foundation and knowing that our web site is one of our most important connections to Box Butte County, the BBDC web site offers perspective industry and developers an opportunity to see who we are and how we live, work and play.

Highlights of the new site include:

  • An easier-to-navigate and easier-to-read design
  • Virtual video tour of Box Butte County
  • News article section where users can stay up-to-date on Box Butte County Economic Development
  • Daily updates of available commercial property for sale or rent
  • Monthly updates of available rental housing

The new web site can be viewed at http://www.boxbuttedevelopment.com/.

ABOUT BOX BUTTE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION: Box Butte Development Corporation was formed in 1986 by a group of forward-thinking, proactive community leaders. The founding fathers of BBDC were concerned the two driving forces of Box Butte county's economy, agriculture and the railroad, both could have cyclical natures and these tandem negative cycles could have far-reaching effects on the county. Thus, the intent of an economic development organization was to try to diversify businesses to mitigate dual adverse circumstance in the two most important economic engines of the economy.
