The Business Assistance Center provides services to new and expanding businesses which include the
following activities:
- technical assistance in the areas of business planning and marketing
- light administrative services available
- access through computer to the Internet
- information through networking, CD-ROMs and BBDC resources
- free Internet access
- light clerical services
- computer time
Location of the center: The main branch of the center is in the BBDC office
at 204 E 3rd Street in Alliance. A computer station is also located in
Hemingford.
Who may use the center: Any resident of Box Butte County who has a for-profit
businesses or wishes to start such a business may use the services provided by
the center. The only requirement is the completion of an intake form on the
first visit.
How do persons access the center: Stop in or call for an appointment.
Computers and equipment are available on an appointment basis. Drop ins are
permitted as long as no one has reserved the use of the center.

Funding and Fees: A list of fees is available in the BBDC office. The center was initially funded by a CDBG sponsored by the City of Alliance.
The grant is awarded through the Department of Economic Development's Business
Development Initiative and is matched with in-kind services of the Box Butte
Development Corporation. Ongoing support of the center is provided by BBDC.
